Kelley Rankin, PT, MPT, has received the Mary Lou Barnes Distinguished Professional Service Award from his alma mater, West Virginia University.
The Mary Lou Barnes Distinguished Professional Service Award recognizes a WVU Physical Therapy graduate who has made a significant contribution to the physical therapy profession through excellence in teaching, research, or service.
Mary Lou Barnes was the founder and first chair of the WVU Physical Therapy program. Kelley was given the award during the “Clinical Pathways” ceremony, where the second year physical therapy students are presented with their white coats prior to beginning full-time clinical rotations and patient care.
Rankin is a 1997 graduate of the WVU Physical Therapy program.
